The Brief
Rugby Railway was established over fifty years ago and is a family friendly venue based in Rugby. The club was looking to extend their online presence and make it easier for members to manage their membership online as well as inform visitors about menus and room hiring services.
The Rugby Railway website has been built in WordPress with bespoke and custom created templates that fit the client’s requirements. There isn’t any area of the website that the client cannot update or edit and the website also has the foundation blocks to allow Rugby Railway to add an ecommerce area to take payment for the membership fees.
One of the project requirements was to create a new brand identity, this would then be used across Rugby Railways website and social media as well as being used for menus and internal communications. The chosen logo took on the shape of an old steam train, but with a contemporary style, both of which visualises the clubs history, ethos and mission to also attract a younger and family orientated audience. A vintage colour scheme was chosen to represent the club’s goal of being a ‘proper old social club’.
