eCommerce Website And Branding
After setting up the farm in 2016, Ian and Pippa came to us to create branding and a new website for their new business venture – Warwickshire Lavender Farm. The website needed to be able to sell their products, and update customers when they had news to share, with the ability to easily change website content with a management system.
From the Lavender grown on the farm they make homemade lavender and honey products from their very own bees on site, which they wanted to sell online.
We started with their logo. They wanted something organic in theme, but luxurious in appearance. There had to be something conceptual behind the meaning of the logo mark. This logo mark would become their seal on all products and packaging, so it needed to be bold and recognisable.
Warwickshire Lavender Farm required a simple but stylish eCommerce website. They had a small range of products initially, but there was a requirement for the website to grow with their business, product range and customer base. The website needed to showcase the farm itself with its picturesque landscapes and scenery as well as their beautifully hand made product range.
The Warwickshire Lavender Farm branding is modern and fresh with the heart at the centre of the logo to showcase the owners’ love of the farm. Our designers had to create a logo that not only looked good on screen, but also stood out on product packaging.
The website is built with a custom theme in WordPress with e-Commerce and mailchimp integrations. Using the Website Content Management System, products can be easily added and updated as needed and orders can be tracked so they can be shipped on time.
The checkout page is easy to navigate and allows customers to securely buy products as well as make an account for next time to save time checking out.
The website was built with product and website optimisation in mind for good performance and site speed across all devices.
